Just a Bunch of Fun Outside!

Here are the kids enjoying random days of good weather. The popcicles are from the ice-cream truck. It was his first trip into the neighborhood this summer and all the kids went crazy. Every kid on the street had one. Cloie picked a tweety bird popcicle and Carter picked Batman. They heard the music from the backyard and ran in to tell me. By the time we got our money and went out front we were too late. We sat out on the steps for 45 minutes waiting for it to come back. When it didn't they were sooo sad that I got them brownies from inside. Then as soon as we were finished with our treat we could hear the music again and it was getting louder and closer. So we ran out as fast as we could and were first in the long line of kids to get our popcicles. Oh what an ordeal!!

And this adorable boy is Carter after a fun afternoon playing in the mud. Oh what a mess!! But oh what fun he had. Good thing we got him all cleaned up before Daddy got home to see the mess he made.

Easter

The kids had so much fun this Easter. Cloie knew exactly what she was doing when it came to hunting for Easter eggs. Carter on the other hand was soon preoccupied when he discovered that there was candy in the eggs. After that he didn't worry about finding eggs he just wanted the candy inside the one he already had.

I managed to finish Cloie's Easter dress just in time. I am so proud of my skills. Isn't she adorable. And of course Carter had to get all spruced up too!

Cloie's 4th Birthday- The Friend Party

So here is Cloie's birthday party with all of her friends. She had all her friends dress up like princesses (except for the two charming princes that came-Korbin and Jake). She wanted it like a tea party but since the last tea party she had with just two friends resulted in broken tea sets, I thought we would do without the actual tea sets and have sandwiches and veggies and what not. I wanted to get a picture of all the girls dressed up but of course I forgot. But, I did somewhat have an excuse, as I was not feeling well. All in all it was a good party. After all of our little princess guests had left Cloie got to go to build a bear with her daddy and build her own special bear.

Cloie's 4th Birthday-The Family Party

Here are the pics from Cloie's family birthday party. She had two parties this year. One with family and one with friends. Boy that was a lot of cake and ice-cream!! But it was a lot of fun too. I can't believe how big my little girl is getting. She is so smart and so talented. She is a really good dancer (if she can pay attention long enough), she is a really good singer (she is always making up her own songs), and she is a great big sister-always looking out for her little brother. Cloie, you are my little angel, my cuddle bug, I love you so very much and I am so glad you are my little girl. Happy Birthday!!
