Hunter David Wilding

Here is the newest member of our famil, Hunter David Wilding. He was born July 14th, 2010 at 1:28pm. He was 7lbs 10oz and was 20 inches long. He is a sweet addition to our family and we are so lucky to have him.
Cloie has been such a big help with him. I wouldn't be able to get half the things done that I have without her. It is going to be tough when she starts school in the next few weeks. She absolutely loves her new little brother. (she loves Carter too, it's just that Hunter doesn't take her toys or hit her.)
Carter doesn't mind his new brother but he doesn't like not having as much attention and snuggle time from mom. Hopefully we can adjust to the baby schedule and find special time to snuggle.

Our Little Soccer Player

So after the year ended for dance Cloie decided she wanted to try out soccer. She wasn't too bad. She never actually made a goal but she made several assists. She was just too nice and not aggressive enough. She was always right behind the person with the ball but would never just go after it. Oh well, she had fun and it was good exercise. Poor Carter had to sit on the sidelines and watch. One game he was getting bored so I gave him gum to keep him quiet. Well he decided to see how far he could push my patience and kept stepping on the field when I told him not too. I warned what would happen and sure enough all of a sudden the ball came rolling at him and a herd of 4 yr olds followed and he got trampled. Of course, he started crying and I just assumed it was because he had just gotten run over by a herd. But, the first thing out of his mouth was, "my gum, my gum."

The Dance Recital!

These two little dance stars had papparazzi surrounding them trying to take their pictures. Look at those beautiful big blue eyes! She is going to be trouble when she's older!!

Oh they look so cute together, just happy giggly little girls.

And here comes the exciting video. Drum roll please....JUST KIDDING apparently the video file is too big. Sorry to dissapoint.

Fun swimming with Cousins

They had so much fun in the water it was hard to get them out. We had to bring food outside to them so they would eat. Even Annie loved it. Oh they are all just too cute. Gabby and Cloie love playing together.

More Summer Fun

Here is Cloie on her bike. She has become quite the little bike rider. And here is Carter helping daddy mow the lawn. Boy how we love having a sloped yard!

It is so cute to watch Carter imitate what his daddy does. Maybe it will encourage daddy to do more around the house so that Carter will learn. Here's hoping!!

Fun in the Pool

Here are the kids having fun in the pool. They love the water. If they could they would spend all day playing in wate.

Sunday Picnic

We decided one Sunday afternoon to take the kids up Millcreek Canyon for a picnic. They loved being out in the mountains playing by the creek. I guess we'll have to do it more often.

Just a Bunch of Fun Outside!

Here are the kids enjoying random days of good weather. The popcicles are from the ice-cream truck. It was his first trip into the neighborhood this summer and all the kids went crazy. Every kid on the street had one. Cloie picked a tweety bird popcicle and Carter picked Batman. They heard the music from the backyard and ran in to tell me. By the time we got our money and went out front we were too late. We sat out on the steps for 45 minutes waiting for it to come back. When it didn't they were sooo sad that I got them brownies from inside. Then as soon as we were finished with our treat we could hear the music again and it was getting louder and closer. So we ran out as fast as we could and were first in the long line of kids to get our popcicles. Oh what an ordeal!!

Here is a day at the park with all the neighbor kids.

And this adorable boy is Carter after a fun afternoon playing in the mud. Oh what a mess!! But oh what fun he had. Good thing we got him all cleaned up before Daddy got home to see the mess he made.

Easter

The kids had so much fun this Easter. Cloie knew exactly what she was doing when it came to hunting for Easter eggs. Carter on the other hand was soon preoccupied when he discovered that there was candy in the eggs. After that he didn't worry about finding eggs he just wanted the candy inside the one he already had.
I managed to finish Cloie's Easter dress just in time. I am so proud of my skills. Isn't she adorable. And of course Carter had to get all spruced up too!
