Here are Cloie and Carter modeling the cute robes and pj bottoms that I made for them. Check out my amazing sewing skills!! Ok don't check too closely because I am just a beginner and I might have made a few mistakes. But I am having a lot of fun with my new hobby. What to sew next?...

Playing in the Snow
Here are me and the kids on a very cold december day playing in the snow. This was Carter's first real experience in the snow and I think he had a pretty good time. He had a hard time with his gloves and walking in all his snow gear but I think he liked it.

Cloie's Chritmas Recital
Here is the video and some pics from Cloie's Christmas recital. We are so proud of her for actually going on stage without me and for doing such a good job. (I think she was one of the best in her group). She had so much fun she wanted to do it again and again. Which is better than her last recital where she walked off stage half way through the dance. She is turning out to be such a big girl and a pretty good dancer.

Meeting Santa
We took the kids to the mall to meet Santa and we weren't too sure how they would react to him. Last year Cloie was very shy and Carter was just scared, he had no clue what was going on. This year was good. Cloie went right up and actually told him what she wanted-a big Cinderella. Carter kept trying to get up to Santa while waiting for his turn, and when it came he walked right up and sat on his lap with no hesitation. Of course he didn't say anything to Santa but what do you expect. After we saw Santa we decided to look around the mall but Cloie was hungry and Carter was tired. And when Cloie threw a fit at the build-a-bear store we thought it best to just go home.
Here we are standing in line waiting for Santa.

Happy Halloween
Here are the kids dressed up in thier costumes. Cloie had sooo much fun trick or treating. We ran into one of her friends from dance class and they ended up trick or treating together. They had a blast singing and skipping door to door. I was carrying Carter who didn't care too much, as long as he had his sucker. So I dropped him off at home with Jason who was handing out candy and Cloie and I went out some more. At home Carter had the most fun passing out the candy. He would get so excited when the doorbell would ring. He would grin and start saying "yay, yay!" It was so dang cute. It was a very good Halloween and we got enough candy to last us a very long time.
This is just some video of the kids on Halloween night. It's a little long and not super exciting but I think they are just so darn cute. And it's for those of you who don't get to see the kids that often. So enjoy it!

Trick or Treat Street
Here are Jason and the kids at Trick or Treat Street. Carter wasn't too sure what to think until we let him have a sucker and then he didn't really care. I made Carter's costume myself and I am pretty proud of it. I was surprised that he kept the hood on. When I would try it on him he would fuss at pull at it. He got to the point where he would run and hide when I got it out. What a stinker. But a cute stinker.

Ouch!!
So Cloie is a very girly girl. She LOVES to play dress-up and "hairdoer" so I got her these cheap velcro rollers for her dress-up and she wanted to put them in her hair. I rolled them in her hair for her and when she asked me to take them out they were stuck. I pulled and pulled and tried to unroll her hair but I couldn't get them out. Cloie was just crying and crying that it hurt and I felt so bad I said let's take a break and we'll to get them out in a little while. she just took the roller and ripped it out taking this whole chunk of hair with it. Poor thing. Now she has a little bald patch on the top of her head. Luckily it is easy to cover so no one notices.

Video Games
Jason just finished his office and likes to spend time down there. The kids like to be down there with him but tend to get into a lot of his things. So he decided to introduce them to video games so that they could be down there with him and keep busy so they're not getting into things. Way to go Dad!

A trip to the dentist
Yesterday Cloie and Carter had their dentist appointments and I was a little anxious to deal with both of them alone there. They get nervous and scared and so I wasn't sure how they would react or how it would all turn out. They called us back and decided to do Cloie first since she was bigger and was actually going to get a cleaning. Both times before she needed me right by her to hold her hand, but I didn't have Carter with me so I could focus entirely on her. This time I had to hold Carter to keep him from getting into things so I couldn't sit and hold her hand. Well she climbed up into the chair by herself and opened her mouth, ready to go. She had x-rays done, then they cleaned her teeth, and then they did the fluoride treatment. She didn't complain once and she actually answered them they talked to her. Usually she just hides her face shyly when people talk to her. I was so proud of her. She even asked the dentist what eating lots of candy would do to her teeth. She is such a big girl, they let her pick 2 prizes. Carter on the other hand, did not enjoy the dentist at all. He squirmed and fussed the whole time the dentist was checking his teeth. But he got a prize too which made it all better.
Boys will be Boys!
Here is Carter doing what he does while I try to take pic's of him in his new Halloween shirt.
And here is Cloie being the silly giggly girl that she is when I tried to take her pic in her new Halloween shirt.
Here they are together. They are so cute and sweet together. until...
Carter turns into a regular boy and starts teasing his sister. Look at his smirky grin. He knows exactly `what he's doing.
And then he tells poor sad Cloie sorry and gives her kisses. Aren't they so sweet.

Cause for Celebration!
We are so excited to hear from Jason's doctor that the radiation therapy did it's job and now his tumor is gone. (Of course this doesn't mean forever. It will come back in time, but hopefully not for a long time.) Anyways, we had to celebrate this good news by taking the kids out for dinner to Spaghetti Mama's which is one of our favorites. It's definitely Cloie's favorite. Just look how well mannered she is when it comes to eating spaghetti!! I was really surprised at how well Carter was while we were there. He's not one for just sitting still. But the kids both did really well.
Thank you to all of you for your continued thoughts and prayers. We have been truely blessed through this trial in our lives. We couldn't have made it through without all the support. So again thank you.

Carter's Big Boy Bed
Here is Carter with his new big boy bed. He looks so tiny in it. It has taken him some getting used to. As long as we close his door he will cry a few minutes until he gives up and crawls in bed and goes to sleep. That will only work as long as he can't open doors, but he's getting close to opening them and then will have to figure something else out.

State Fair
Grandma and Grandpa took Cloie and Gabby to the Fair. Here are pictures of some of the fun things they did. Cloie had a lot more fun with Grandma and Grandpa then she did with Mommy and Daddy at the fair the night before.
